Logging gaps
A power or signal outage leaves periods with no data. For the DGA or the ISP, a gap can't be reconstructed.
Industrial IoT · Engineering · Operations
We design, integrate, and operate IoT solutions that measure what matters, keep working when the connection drops, and turn field data into decisions.
The problem
In many operations, information arrives late, incomplete, or only when someone goes to check. The cost shows up later: on the bill, in the audit, or in lost product.
A power or signal outage leaves periods with no data. For the DGA or the ISP, a gap can't be reconstructed.
A compressor failing overnight, a pump running dry, or a leak gets detected only after the damage is done.
Your bill tells you how much you spent, but not where, when, or why. Without that detail, there's no way to fix it.
The problem isn't measuring. It's to keep measuring the day the power goes out or the signal drops.
Solutions
Start with the problem. Technology comes after.
Level, flow rate, and volume per well, with automatic reporting to the DGA straight from the site, even during power or signal outages.
Temperature per unit, alerts, and evidence for the ISP.
NIVAL→Consumption and cost per circuit, live.
PULSE→Equipment, processes, and distributed assets.
SCOPE→Soil, weather, and irrigation by sector.
ROOTS→BMS, BACnet, and Modbus in a single layer.
NEXO→Weather and environment (AURA) · Indoor location (TRACE) · Fleets (DRIVE, new)
VIEW ALL →How it works

Narrowbits Engineering
Behind every solution there's engineering: industrial edge computing, our own products built on electronics developed with IQnexus, protocol integration, and software. That's why we can connect what others can't, from a legacy RS-232 meter to a SCADA or BMS.
2× RS-232 / RS-485
Modbus · BACnet · MQTT
NBNANO COMPACT · 125 × 135 × 40 MM · DRAG TO ROTATE

Continuous temperature monitoring, ISP traceability, and managed annual calibration.

Automatic DGA reporting (Res. 1238), remote supervision, and a monthly report.

Next step
You don't need to decide on the whole operation. A single measured point already shows where the risk is and how much can be recovered.

Narrowbits FLOW · Water and DGA compliance
Telemetry for wells, tanks, and networks, with automatic DGA reporting straight from the site. Logging continues even if power or signal is lost.
NB sensors: NBdga · NBwater · NBpulse

The problem
If the equipment stops measuring during an outage, that period has no data. For the DGA, a gap counts as a failure to transmit.
No one knows whether the pump is running, the water table has dropped, or there's a leak until someone goes out to the well to check.
Failing to meet monitoring and transmission obligations exposes the water rights holder to penalties.
| Scenario | Cloud only | With NBnano |
|---|---|---|
| Cellular signal outage | No record for the period | Keeps measuring and storing |
| Power outage at the well | No data, no alarm | Runs on DC-UPS |
| Link recovery | The period stays blank | Forwards the backlog |
| DGA reporting | Dependent on the cloud | Sent from the well |
| Audit of the period | Failure to transmit | Complete data series |

Case · Water resources
Eight extraction wells in open terrain, with continuous transmission required. Level, flow rate and volume telemetry, local logging on NBnano, remote supervision and a monthly technical report.
Service tiers
DGA compliance with NBnano, mains-powered.
Everything in Lite, with no gaps from power outages.
Well, tank, distribution network, energy and control.
Services
Supervision, review of points with no data, incident handling and technical support.
Historical data, events and reports for reviews and audits.
Periodic summary of relevant changes, alerts and open items.
Frequently asked questions
In many cases, yes. It connects via pulse, Modbus or 4–20 mA, as long as it meets the required range and accuracy. We confirm this during the technical assessment.
With the Continuity tier, NBnano runs on a DC-UPS and battery: it keeps measuring and logging through the outage.
Yes. Registration as a DGA reporting party and setup of automatic reporting are part of the service.
You need a link to transmit, but if it drops, NBnano stores the data and resends it when the signal returns.
